Converting Steel Castings to ADI Castings

Shrinking domestic steel casting foundries and high material costs make steel castings an undesirable choice in some situations. Consider converting your cast steel component to an ADI casting and you will find lower piece costs and a broader choice of casting suppliers.

ADI (Austempered Ductile Iron) castings are basically ductile iron castings that have been subjected to a special heat treating process. The casting and machining of ADI is often times 20% lower in cost than that of a comparable steel casting.
